Riders now have a comfortable and convenient trip to work or school. Roundtrips have more than doubled with 17 now offered on weekdays. The Hartford Line is a regional link with connections to existing rail services, including New Haven Line (Metro-North), Shore Line East, and Amtrak (and Amtrak’s Acela high-speed) rail services. There are also direct bus connections in Hartford to the Kennedy Road (Bradley Airport) and to CTfastrak.
The Hartford Line is revitalizing communities by spurring transit-oriented development around stations. Communities are already seeing developments and plans for a mix of housing, retail, office space, and entertainment developments within short walking distances of Hartford Line Stations. Soon, riders and residents will have more options for places to live, shop, work and play.
